According to Huge Jackman, " I’m filming Les Miserables in February, but before that I will be filming Wolverine 2 in October. Chris McQuarrie has written a fantastic script and it should turn out really good. I’ll fight the Silver Samurai in it so that should be exciting. Most of the filming will take place in Japan."
James Mangold will direct the movie and Christopher McQuarrie, Mark Bomback will write the screenplay for the film.

Huge Jackman on Set

The Silver Samurai aka Kenuichio Harada has a long history in the Marvel Universe and should make an admirable enemy for Wolverine. Harada is actually the half-brother of Wolverine’s lover Mariko Yashida and he has major issues with her relationship with Wolverine. 

Actor Yun Lee as Silver Samurai

Actors Will Yun Lee and Brian Tee have been cast as the villains in The Wolverine. Yun Lee will play Kenuichio Harada, more commonly known as the Japanese mutant Silver Samurai. He possesses the power to generate a tachyon energy field through his katana, allowing it to cut through almost any substance. In Wolverine 2, Huge Jackman falls in love with a Japanese woman whose hand in marriage is promised to another man. The forbidden romance puts Wolverine at war with her father and the dangerous Silver Samurai.

Jessica Biel as Hydra

X Men Wolverine 2 is bringing on the Viper aka Madame Hydra character to mix things up with Wolverine,and she may be played by Jessica Biel. Her association with Wolverine is complex, involving a forced marriage through blackmail, mortal wounds due to spirit possession and,actual emotional attachment. So, it sounds like Viper could definitely make things interesting.

A new Wolverine 2 set clip shows new footage from the Japanese POW Camp. It hit the net,and features some exclusive first filming footage that’s taking place on the Australia set. The clip features main star Hugh Jackman doing his first interviews for the film. They also revealed that some of the movie will be filmed at Fox studios. It also included interviews with onlookers in the area. The Wolverine is set for a 26th July, 2013 release.

So, it sounds like Viper could definitely make things interesting. The new movie is scheduled to start filming in Australia this August 2012,and has a release date of July 26th,2013.

They’re currently waiting for main star Hugh Jackman to finish up his Les Miserables movie filming with Catwoman starlet Anne Hathaway. Once they finally start filming,they will head to Australia and Japan to do the shooting. They are also going to start production on the new X-Men: First Class flick at the beginning of 2013.
